The following UMass Dartmouth students have been named to the Chancellor's List in recognition of earning a fall semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher of a possible 4.0:

The following local residents were among 409 students honored for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the Dean's List for the 2011 fall semester at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts:

Brittany Abany, a resident of Mansfield, MA

Sarah Calvario, a resident of Mansfield, MA

Marissa Sarnie, a resident of Mansfield, MA

To make the Dean's List, students must have a grade point average of 3.33 or above.

The following area residents were named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University:

Christopher Beach of Mansfield, MA

Jessica Biggs of Mansfield, MA

SriSavithaDevi Kolla of Mansfield, MA

Kathleen Nolan of Mansfield, MA

To be eligible for dean's list status, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis (A through C) to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester at Assumption College. Assumption students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher to make the Dean's List.

Keene State College has released the Dean's List for the fall semester 2011. Among the 1,501 students named to the Dean's List are:

Erin Cogan of Mansfield, Massachusetts

Sarah Merrifield of Mansfield, Massachusetts

Kevin Murphy of Mansfield, Massachusetts

The Dean's List designation is bestowed to those Keene State College undergraduates enrolled in a degree program who have completed a minimum of six credit hours in the semester, receiving no failing or incomplete grades. A 3.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale is required to earn the Dean's List honor.

Colleen Copley of Mansfield, MA earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2011 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Rev. Augustine Kelly, O.S.B., dean of the college announces the following students that were named to the Dean's List for the first semester at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH.

Bryanna E. Hayes, of Mansfield, a Criminal Justice major and a member of the class of 2013.

Devon M. MacKinnon, of Mansfield, a Nursing major and a member of the class of 2013.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must compile a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Undergraduate students earning a 4.00 academic average for the semester gain the distinction of Faculty Honors at Georgia Tech.

Curry College's Chief Academic Officer David Potash is pleased to announce the following area residents attained membership to the Curry College Dean's List for the Fall 2011 term:

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 G.P.A., have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.
