Mansfield Wrestling Defeats Canton 39-33 in Hockomock League action.
The Mansfield High wrestling team defeated Canton, 39-33, Thursday night, in Hockomock league action.
It was a back and forth battle all night that saw Mansfield rally late to take the exciting match.
Mansfield had five impressive first period pins courtesy of Pee Wee Dawkins (126) Jake McCaffrey (160) Max Trowbridge (170) Tyler McKay (195) and Sam Caskey (220).

McKay gained his first career victory setting up Caskey to finish things off for the hornets. Mansfield's record is 5-4 and they next wrestle Saturday in a quad vs. Brockton, Methuen and St. John's Shrewsbury, in Brockton.
