The following was provided by the Mansfield High School wrestling coaching staff.
The Hockomock league tournament was held on Saturday January 28th at North Attleboro High School. Mansfield trailed only North Attleboro and Franklin in team scoring and had eight wrestlers place in the top four in the process.Dan Gilmore was champion of the 152 pound weight class. He defeated Austin Renzi of North Attleboro 7-4 in the finals.
Dan had a record of 3-0 with 2 pins on the day. Derrion Walker was champion of the 160 pound weight class. He pinned Tyler Florio of King Phillip in the finals at the 2:08 mark of the match. Derrion was 3-0 with 2 pins for the tournament.

Tyler Budwey won his first tournament of the season at the 170 pound weight class. He defeated Peter Kummer of North Atlleboro 8-0 in the finals. Tyler was 3-0 with 2 pins overall. Mansfield had the following wrestlers place 3rd in the tournament. Aurion Dawkins (120) went 3-1 with 1 pin, Sam McLoughlin (126) went 3-1, Joe Herrick (132) went 3-1 with 1 pin and Tom Maguire went 3-1 with 2 pins. John Carney (145) placed 4th, going 3-2 with 2 pins. Mansfield has their last dual meet Wednesday at home against King Phillip, then travels to Durfee High School on Saturday to compete in the Division 1 South Sectional Tournament.
