Qualters Students Win Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild Musical Awards
Students from QMS took home awards in three categories.
On June 11, students from the Qualters Middle School walked away with three awards at the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild 2013 Musical Awards for their performance of Bye Bye Birdie.
This award honors the work of high school and middle school musicals across the state of Massachusetts.
Out of the 50 schools that entered, the Mansfield school led all schools with 14 nominations.

The following individuals and groups took home awards at the ceremony held at the Paramont Theater in Boston:
- Best Middle School Stage Management
- Best Middle School Featured Actor: Will Ferrari
- Best Middle School Specialty Ensemble: Maya Blogett, Regan Calusdian, Francesca Ferrara, and Kirsten Volkart
