Rock Orchestra Playing at Mansfield High School for the Ice Hockey Booster Club
The night will be a tribute to the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Ornament, Southern New England’s Premier Rock Orchestra, will present a concert entitled “A Tribute to the Trans Siberian Orchestra” in the main auditorium of on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at 7 p.m. The concert is sponsored by the Mansfield Ice Hockey Boosters Club.
Ornament, an eleven-piece rock orchestra currently in their sixth year of touring, presents the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra (TSO). Reproducing the actual shows performed by TSO on a smaller scale, they include narration, lights, smoke machines, lasers, and snow machines. Using music and narration to tell a story of the true meaning of Christmas, the show helps us all remember what the holiday season is truly about.
This is a show appreciated by all ages and uses traditional holiday carols and songs sung to rock, blues and gospel music. A group of select choir members from the Mansfield High School Choir programs will join in on a few selected songs as well.
