"Together We Can" Dance Scheduled Announced

The "Together We Can" Dance for fathers-daughters are ready for its 20th year.

 

Mansfield’s Together We Can organization has announced the dates of its 20th Annual Father/Daughter Dances and the 13th Annual Mother/Son Dance. All dances will be held at the Mansfield High School cafeteria and will run from 6:30-9 p.m.

The dates are as follows:

March 2: Father/Daughter Dance Grades 3, 4, and 5.

March 9: Mother/Son Dance Grades K-5.

March 23: Father/Daughter Dance Grades K-2.              

The tickets are $6 at the door.  (No advance ticket sales).Please note the dance is open to all residents in Mansfield. 

They will again be collecting food donations for Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. Please visit their web site at www.occmansfield.org for acceptable donations.

DJ Peter Conti will be spinning the dance music with Henry Studios capturing the memories taking beautiful portraits of all the participants (payment required at time of photo, cash only).  Refreshments will be on sale as well.

This year, the Greenschool charitable organization will be selling green glow necklaces to raise money for their cause. ‘Together We Can’ is a non-profit organization founded in 1992.  In the 20 years ‘Together We Can’ has been in operation, the group has always given back to causes benefitting Mansfield residents or students.  It has made contributions towards various charitable causes and special projects such as Citizens Scholarship Foundation, the skate park at Memorial Park, Relay for Life, Mansfield YMCA Arts and Education Center; Reach out for Youth & Families Campaign, Kids Helping Kids, MESA, and the Downtown Christmas Parade.
