Former Mansfield High Football Player Honored

Mansfield High alum Jeff Hill has been named Preseaon All-America by the Beyond Sports Network.

Mansfield's Jeff Hill has been has been selected as a third-team preseason Division II All-America by Beyond Sports Network, a sports media company that features students and student-athletes from the FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels, according to the Bentley Falcons' website.


Hill, formerly a member of the Hornets' football team and now a junior wide receiver at Bentley University, was the Falcons' Offensive MVP a year ago. 11 of his 13 career touchdowns have been for 28 yards or longer; six of them were for over 40 yards. 

Last season, he was five yards shy of a 1,000-yard season, earning him first-team All-Northeast-10 Conference honors. He averaged 19.5 yards per catch and scored touchdowns on ten of his 51 receptions.
