It's the furthest the team has advanced in the tournament.
The U11 Mansfield American baseball squad captured the District 4 Cal Ripken Tournament Championship this month.
The team was 4-1 for the week, beating Wrentham, Dedham, and Stoughton, then ending with a double-header against Dedham in the championship round. Mansfield lost 16-4 in the first game but battled back to win 5-3, beating the back-to-back state champions in Dedham.
