Mansfield Boys' Basketball Team Draw Top-Seed
Needham or North Quincy will be Hornets' first round opponent.
The Mansfield High boys' basketball team is the top seed in Division 1 South and will be playing the winner of Needham and North Quincy Thursday night at home. The Hornets finished the regular season with a 20-2 record. A year ago, Mansfield went all the way to the South finals at the Boston Garden before being eliminated by Madison Park.
Mansfield could meet a familiar foe in the next round as Madison Park and Hockomock League rival Franklin in the quarterfinals. The Hornets defeated Franklin a year ago on their road to the South finals.
