The Mansfield High School Football team beat Stoughton at home 5-0, bringing their record to 7-1-3, according to the Sun Chronicle.
The Hornets moved to within a point of qualifying for the postseason, as senior goalkeeper Colin Golden stopped 10 shots for his sixth shutout this year. Senior strikers Brian Esposito and James Cooney each scored twice and Jim Murphy scored once.
The Hornets play Canton next, Wednesday at 6 p..m.
