Mansfield High 2012 Football Schedule Features New Opponents

There will be a couple of new opponents on the Mansfield High football team in 2012.

Taunton, a former Thanksgiving Day opponent, will be joining the Hockomock League and will host Mansfield, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

Mansfield will be opening up the season at home Sept. 8 against Westfield in a 6:30 p.m. Dracut will be another new opponent and the Hornets will be going there Sept. 21 for a 7 p.m. game.

The homecoming game this year will be against King Philip Oct. 19, while the Thanksgiving Day game with Foxborough will be a home contest at 10 a.m. Nov. 21.
