Mansfield High Football Ready for Canton Bulldogs

The Mansfield High football team will be looking for its fourth win of the season Friday night at Canton in a 6 p.m. game.

 

 

After beating Attleboro, 21-19, at home last week, the 3-2 Mansfield High football team will be hitting the road for a 6 p.m. game at Canton Friday night, looking for their fourth win of the season.

Canton is coached by former Mansfield assistant coach Dave Bohane, who is in second tenure at the helm of the Bulldogs.

The 1-3 Bulldogs lost a heart-breaker to 5-0 Sharon last week at home in overtime.

Against the Bombardiers, Mansfield quarterback Kyle Wisnieski had a big night passing the ball, going 12 for 19 with 174-yards, one touchdown and one interception. Both Michael Hershman and Brendan Hill each had four catches. Hill scored a touchdown, while Hershman kicked three extra-points.

Defensively, Kyle Hurley had four tackles and assisted on four others, while Auruann Dawkins had three solo tackles and three assists. Frank Spillane had an interception.
