Mansfield High Football Team Too Much for Dracut

Rob Rapoza scored four touchdowns as the Mansfield High football team defeated Dracut on the road Friday night.

After three weeks of nonleague play, the 2-1 Mansfield High football team will be playing in the Hockomock League crossover game Friday night when they travel to Stoughton to play the Black Knights at 7 p.m.

Stoughton is expected to battle for the Davenport division title and is already 3-0 on the season, beating Holliston, Taunton and Pembroke. The Hornets own wins over Dracut and Westfield and lost to Needham.

Rob Rapoza ran for four touchdowns as the Hornets won 31-16 at Dracut. Mansfield kept Dracut scoreless until the fourth quarter when the home team scored all of its 16 points.

Rapoza ran for scores of seven, 64 and one-yard, and also caught a seven-yard pass from quarterback Kyle Wisnieski.

Mike Hershman had a big night kicking the ball with a 26-yard field goal and four extra-points for the Hornets.
