Mansfield High Football Team Wins First Game of the Season in Baltimore

The Mansfield High School football team won their first game of the season against the Dunbar High School Poets of Baltimore, Md., according to the football teams' website.

Senior Quarterback Kyle Wisnieski "led the Hornets to a 29-26 comeback victory, going four for five going 4 for 5 on the go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter, including the 40-yard winning strike to Michael Hershman," said the website. "Wisnieski tossed another touchdown pass to Brendan Hill and also rushed for a score."

The Hornets played the Poets in their annual "Sugar Cain Classic," and visit various locations in Washington D.C. during the trip. Their next game, and home opener, is against Milton High School this Thursday at 7 p.m.
