Mansfield High Football Will Be Remembering DeSimone
Players will be wearing his initials on their helmets for the 2011 season.
The Mansfield High football team will be remembering the late Gridiron Club president Al DeSimone, who died in May, during the upcoming season.
The Hornets will be dedicating the fall football program to him and all of the players will be wearing his initials on their helmets.
The team will be selling a white visor with "Never Surrender" on the front and DeSimone's initials on the back. The hats are expected to be available July and the $15 cost will go to the scholarship fund.
