Mansfield High Girls' Basketball to Face Barnstable in State Tournament

The Mansfield High girls' basketball team will be Cape-bound for their first round Division 1 South tournament game. The Hornets will be traveling to Barnstable Wednesday for a 7 p.m. game.

Mansfield is seeded 11th in tournament with a 14-8 record, while Barnstable is the sixth seed at 15-4.

The winner will play the winner of the Plymouth South/Madison Park vs. New Bedford game in the quarterfinals. A year ago, New Bedford defeated Mansfield in the Division 1 South game at the Boston Garden.
