Mansfield's Hopkins Back With Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

Mansfield's Greg Hopkins is back for his second year with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Midwest League in the Milwaukee Brewers' organization. The Timber Rattlers are a Single A team.

Hopkins is the third baseman for the club, who will be playing at South Bend tonight at 6:05 p.m.

After a standout career at St. John's University and Bishop Feehan High School, Hopkins was the 24th round pick of the Brewers in 2010.

In the first 14 games of the season, Hopkins was .231 with eight runs scored, six RBI and a stolen base.

Last year, Hopkins batted .229 with seven homers, 53 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
