Mansfield's McPherson Earns All-New England Honors
Mansfield's Michael McPherson was fourth in the shot put at the New England Division 3 cham
Five Bears earned All-New England honors as the Bridgewater State University men's outdoor track and field team placed 21st (11 points) at the New England Division 3 Championships held at Colby College.
Michael McPherson of Mansfield paced the Bears with a fourth place finish in the shot put with a toss of 52 feet, 4.25 inches (15.95m).
The other All-New England performers were Matt Horan, sixth 110-meter hurdles, Josh Goehring, 800 meters, eighth, Andy Sukeforth, eighth, 1,500 meter run and Christian Lavioe, discus, eighth.

The BSU track team will be competing in the NEICAAA Championships at Stonehill College Saturday.
