Palanza, one of the five Hornet football captains, met Manassas (Tenn.) football head coach Bill Courtney at movie premier at Showcase Cinema in Foxborough. Courtney is the subject of a documentary by filmmakers Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin. The two have been exchanging messages.

“I’ve asked him questions on how can I do this better, or that better, or how to keep the team as one unit,” Palanza said on EPSN. “You can have problems with other people’s egos on a team or whatnot; I want this year to be different. I want this team to come together. I asked him how to do that, how we can do things differently. We talked a lot about that.”
