Mansfield's Royle to Exit Baltimore Ravens' Beat

In an article in Tuesday's Baltimore Sun, Mansfield's Jennifer Royle says she is leaving her reporting beat covering the Baltimore Ravens for WJX-FM (105.7) The Fan at the end of the season to return to Boston.

Could be Mansfield's Jennifer Royle appearing on the Boston media sports scene shortly?

Royle told the Baltimore Sun she is leaving covering the Baltimore Ravens on WJX-FM (105.7) at the end of the NFL season to return to Boston. The MHS graduate has been rumored for the on field reporter position at NESN during the Boston Red Sox game. She has also been appearing on WEEI Radio on a fill-in basis.

"I can't confirm that I'm making a career move," Royle said in the Baltimore Sun story. "But I've been away from home for 15 years, and in my heart, I want to replant my roots in Boston."

The Mansfield High graduate has been in Baltimore for 21 months and previously worked at the YES Network, covering the New York Yankees and worked for the Major League Baseball Network.

In Baltimore, Royle has covered both the Ravens and the Orioles, been a co-host of "Baltimore Baseball Tonight and been a sports talk show host.
