Mansfield Wrestling Wins One Loses Two
Mansfield High School Wrestling wins one match against Plymouth North.
The Mansfield High wrestling team won one and lost two at their quad match Saturday in Plymouth. They lost to Duxbury 46-38 and Plymouth South 60-4.
Mansfield defeated Weymouth in the most exciting match of the day. Mansfield was trailing 34-0 and came back to snatch the victory away 36-34 with six consecutive pins by Sam Caskey, Pee Wee Dawkins, Sam McLoughlin, Joe Herrick, Sam Borden and Mike Chase.
Leading the way on the day for Mansfield were co-captains Joe Herrick and Sam McLoughlin. Herrick was 3-0 with two pins and McLoughlin was 2-0 with two pins. The team record is 3-4 and their next match is in Taunton Monday night.
