Mansfield Boys' Basketball Finish at #1 in Final Polls

The Hornets finished the season at number 1 in two polls and number 2 in a third one.

While the season may have ended in a disappointing manner, the accolades keep rolling in for the Mansfield Hornets boys' basketball team.

Recently, the team was ranked number one in the final Boston Globe and Boston Herald polls of the season. Both polls are made up of teams from eastern Massachusetts and do not include teams from the central and western parts of the state.

In the ESPN Boston Top 25, which features teams from all over the state, the Hornets finished at number two behind the Division 1 champions Putnam Beavers.
