You Won't Believe What Jonny Gomes Wore to Meet Obama

The Boston Red Sox were at the White House Tuesday to celebrate their 2013 World Series trophy ... and Gomes made a patriotic fashion statement.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Jonny Gomes hit a grand slam with his outfit choice as the team met President Obama Tuesday to celebrate their 2013 World Series win.

The fan favorite Gomes donned a pinstripe suit featuring a design of the American flag.

"Nailed it," teammate Mike Napoli tweeted.

Obama praised the team for its championship during a ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House.

"You have some fanatical fans and my administration is full of them," Obama said.

The team presented him with a custom jersey, according to NESN.com.
