Mansfield Bank Beats the Heat for Habitat for Humanity

Employee volunteers from Mansfield Bank braved the heat on Thursday to landscape the Norton home that will soon by occupied by a young family in dire need of suitable space.

Mansfield Bank employees first raised funds for the project through May’s “Hike for Humanity,” which itself followed a $5,000 contribution by the Mansfield Bank Charitable Foundation.

The “Hike” donations, totalling to about $1,500, helped fund the gravel, mulch and loam that needed to be spread on Thursday after the group removed weeds, roots and rocks.
