Mansfield Bank Employees Build on Their 'Foundation'

Mansfield Bank raises $10, 201.77 for the American Cancer Society.

They walked, they washed cars, they matched donations, they held a yard sale and they paid to dress casual --- and when 3 months of giving by Mansfield Bank employees ended, more than $5,700 was raised for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

The total even eclipsed the $4,500 “Gold” sponsorship of the event by The Mansfield Bank Charitable Foundation.  In all, $10, 201.77 was submitted to ACS Tuesday to raise hope and provide support in the fight against cancer.

Pivotal to achieving these unprecedented results were Mansfield Bank employees Deb Gagnon (left) and Lorna Perry (second from left), Team Captains of the various events, Michelle Anton (not pictured here) who garnered $865 in support of her walking, Bank CEO John Korona, who personally matched all the donations of bank employees, and Carie Bailey (right) who arranged and hosted Bank Night fund collections.  Accepting employee and foundation contributions last night on behalf of American Cancer Society was Katie Boutillier (center), ACS Staff Partner.
