Home of the Mansfield Hornets, the green and white spirit of the school can be seen and felt far from the physical confines of the school building. From student volunteers who contribute in both local and global ventures, to the award-winning Math Team and the Division II 2010 Superbowl champions, these vibrant, active students are represented in dozens of ventures in the local community and beyond. According to Principal Joseph Maruszczak, "Mansfield High School has an outstanding balance of excellence. Our kids perform well academically, athletically and socially, as measured by the participation rates in both extra and co-curricular activities. (We have) invested parents and community and an outstanding staff that supports our students so that they may be successful."
