<p>Established in 1829, the Old Country Store is one of the oldest businesses in Mansfield. The store changed hands in February of 2010 and is now managed by Chris and Lauryn Baker.</p>
<p>This slice of pure Americana draws tourists and locals year round to sample homemade fudge and peanut butter, and a host of delectable New England confections, including the famous penny candy counter.</p> <p>Quality rugs, furniture, lamps and home accessories are available in the many rooms of this store, tended with loving care by a knowledgeable staff.</p> <p>Clocks by Howard Miller and home hardware handcrafted by local company, Acorn manufacturing, as well as on-site lamp repair, are one of the many reasons patrons travel to this location, nestled in West Mansfield near the site of the old fire station and train depot.</p> <p>Young and old delight in the pickle barrels, candy counters, whimsical antiques on display throughout the store and gift items for every taste and budget.</p>
