St.Mary's Catholic Church  is home to the largest number of families in the Fall River Diocese. The grounds include a school, the parish center and the Rose Garden Hall. St. Mary's is a vibrant community, led by Monsignor Stephen Avila, assisted by Reverend William Sylvia and Deacon Thomas Palanza. The annual Septemberfest draws parishioners from throughout the town for a day of fun and fundraising to help support the parish activities. The religious education program, run from the parish center, serves students ages 4 - 14 years in various instructional and sacramental classes. Religious Education Coordinators, Ellen Westlund, Sister Ann William and Youth Minister Jeff Cahill, work with an extensive staff of parish volunteers to instruct the students. The parish has a music ministry which includes adult and children's choral groups and bell choirs, a folk group, and a youth band: Spirit of Life. Additional ministries within the parish include prayer, liturgical, parish, youth and adult faith formation and outreach ministries including: St. Vincent dePaul Society, coffee and donuts and Friends of the Pine Street Inn. There is a children's room off the main altar for families with small children to use during Masses. There is a St. Francis prayer grotto on the grounds and The Rose Garden is available for parish related functions by appointment through the main office.
