The Mansfield 7 on 7 football team lost to eventual champion Andover in the Under Armor 7 on 7 New England Championship at Gillette Stadium July 25. Mansfield made it to the Final Four after beating St. John's Prep, losing to Methuen, beating Salem and Quincy to take a 4-1 record into the finals. In the Final Four, Mansfield lost to Andover on the final play of the game in the semifinals. Andover went out to beating Reading, 19-6, for the title. Teams in the championship included Franklin, Mansfield, Reading Memorial, St. John's Prep, Methuen, Pingree, Salem, Andover, Essex Junction (VT) and Quincy.
