Koko FitClub to Honor Beth Flint Through Relay for Life Event

The fitness club at the Mansfield/Easton boarder will hold the Koko Five Million Point Challenge in memory of Mansfield's Beth Flint.

Koko FitClub has announced that they will once again hold the “Koko 5 Million Point Challenge” campaign in support of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.   This year, the campaign will be dedicated to club member and Mansfield resident Beth Flint who lost her battle with cancer in January "Beth was a tremendous community advocate, supporter of Relay 4 Life and many other charitable efforts.  She has shared many smiles in our community from her local family business Flint Farm," Koko FitClub said in a press release. For 24 hours, beginning Saturday, May 4, at 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, Koko FitClub members, employees, neighbors local businesses and staff are invited to participate in one or more 15-minute cardio sessions …

Bank Robbery Suspect in Norton Identified Norton Police Detectives have identified the Mansfield Bank robbery suspect as Ramon Felix, 27, of Quincy.  A bank employee told the Norton Police Department that a male entered the Mansfield Bank on W. Main Street in Norton at about 6 p.m. on April 21, approached a teller and handed her a note requesting money and stating that he had a weapon.  No weapon was shown to the teller. The male then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Mansfield Koko FitClub Helping to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Support

Do Good Campaign and Koko FitClubs raise funds for local families afflicted by breast Cancer

Mansfield's Koko FitClub is teaming up with the Ellie Fund for their "Do Good Campaign." The campaign features featuring over 40 Baystate based companies that are donating a percentage of the sale of a product or service during the month of October to help local families fight breast cancer. Koko FitClub’s Massachusett’s locations have joined forces to participate in this campaign with a goal of raising $2,500 to help local families fight breast cancer. The Koko FitClubs of Needham, Pembroke, Acton, Mansfield, Plainville, Easton, Centerville & Harwich are raising funds through specific member challenges, the sale of a Koko FitClub and Ellie Fund branded wristband and through prize drawings.
