Mansfield Selectmen Say Goodbye to "No Chance" Lance Lawson
Mansfield Police Officer Lance Lawson retires in Mansfield.
The Mansfield Board of Selectmen recognized the retirement of officer Lance Lawson. Affectionately nicknamed “No Chance” Lance, selectmen said he was a valuable asset to the department for decades. “Lance was very well-versed on traffic and he gave us a lot of good advice at the time,” said selectman George Dentino. “He spent a great number of years adding the [traffic] tickets." Selectmen agreed Lawson’s contributions extended beyond an officer’s call of duty and really set himself apart in his knowledge for the town. “Lance was a great asset to the planning board too,” said selectman Doug Annino.
