Ever wonder what the most expensive bottle of liquor is in your local liquor store?
Ever wonder what the most expensive bottle of liquor is at the local package store? We stopped by Dubb's Liquors and Fine Wines in Mansfield and asked owner Robin Sarro what customers were paying top-dollar for. According to Sarro, a bottle of Louis XIII Cognac was purchased a few months ago for $1,600. While the cognac was no longer in stock, the next most expensive item was a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for $239.99. Sarro said customers buying the expensive Scotch could have it engraved. One customer, she said, asked it to be engraved to his "future father-in-law" as way of asking permission for marriage.
