Occupant medflighted from Maple St. to Massachusetts General Hospital.
Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a serious collision involving a van and a tree on Maple Street Thursday night at around 7 p.m. A passerby originally called in the accident, and reported that the occupant was trapped in the vehicle unconsious, but still breathing. Three Mansfield Fire vehicles and one Foxoborough engine responded to the scene. The original call reporting the accident was clocked at 6:53 p.m., and the patient was extracted at 7:03 p.m. The patient was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The fire was extinguished before the Fire Department arrived on scene. Oct. 11 10:05 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting that a dump truck had flipped on its side on East Street. Patient was treated on scene.
