Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Jan. 9-16

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 52 calls last week. Jan. 9 4:22 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision on North Main Street in front of Genos Café. EMS treated minor injuries on the scene and three patients refused hospital transport. Jan. 10 12:42 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a vehicle collision with a utility pole. EMS personnel treat minor injuries on scene and the occupants refused hospital transport. Jan. 11 6:57 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on Chauncy Street. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Van Crash Occupant Medflighted from Mansfield

Occupant medflighted from Maple St. to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a serious collision involving a van and a tree on Maple Street Thursday night at around 7 p.m. A passerby originally called in the accident, and reported that the occupant was trapped in the vehicle unconsious, but still breathing. Three Mansfield Fire vehicles and one Foxoborough engine responded to the scene. The original call reporting the accident was clocked at 6:53 p.m., and the patient was extracted at 7:03 p.m. The patient was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: Nov. 21-28

The following is from the Mansfield Fire Department.

The Mansfield Fire Department and EMS Services responded to a total of 54 calls last week. Nov. 22 3:11 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a minor three-vehicle collision on Chauncy Street. One occupant was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Nov. 23 10:52 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on Chauncy Street. One victim was treated on scene for minor injuries. 12:39 p.m. Caller reported arcing and sparking wires on Lakeview Avenue. Two Mansfield eninges arrived on the scene, and the Mansfield Electrical Department mitigated the issue. The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a total of 67 calls last week, most of which were medical in nature. Oct. 31 3:28 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS received a call concerning a multiple vehicle collision on Route 140 Sout near Forbes Boulevard. One occupant was transported to Norwood Hospital. Nov. 1 4:08 a.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a call from the Massachusetts State Police concerning a man struck by a motor vehicle.  The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.   Nov. 2 1:43 p.m.  Caller reported  a pedestrian was struck on East Street. The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Service responded to 49 calls last week. Oct. 10 10:29 p.m. Caller reported a fire in a building on South Main Street. The fire was extinguished before the Fire Department arrived on scene.   Oct. 11 10:05 a.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting that a dump truck had flipped on its side on East Street. Patient was treated on scene. There was a minor fuel leak, but it was mitigated on scene. The truck was eventually flipped upright.   Oct.  13 7:54 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a two-vehicle collision with reported injuries at the intersection of Oak Street and Elm Street. The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 47 calls last week. Most of the calls were of a medical nature or from a faulty alarm system. Sept. 26 6:58 p.m. Mansfield Fire responded to a fire alarm at a vacant building on West Street . One of the trash compactors burnt out and caused the alarm to go off.   Sept. 30 2:09 p.m. Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Park Avenue and East Street. One occupant was transported to Norwood Hospital. 7:53 p.m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call from North Attleboro concerning a motor vehicle collision on Mary Anne Way. One victim was transported Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 52 calls last week. Sept. 13 12:03 a.m. State Police notified Mansfield Fire and Rescue to a multiple vehicle crash on Route 95 North near exit 6A. One occupant was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. 6:30 p.m. Several callers reported a motor vehicle collision at 287 School St. involving a car and a motorcycle. Mansfield EMS transported three parties to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. 8:07 p.m. Mansfield, and 11 other town fire departments, responded to a fire at the Miller Recycling Plant on Plymouth Street. Aug. 29 2:13 Mansfield Fire and EMS responded to a call reporting that there had been a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Rte. 95 South ramp going to Rte. 495 South.
