Jan. 27 8:58 a.m. Police found graffiti on the fence on the west side of Medline on West Street. 3:11 p.m. Caller reported a coyote prowling in the vacant lot adjacent to Mansfield crossing. 6:06 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on Route 140. The caller said that they spoke with the offending vehicle’s operator and suggested they move their vehicles into the parking lot at Stop & Shop to exchange paperwork. When the caller got to the lot, the other vehicle had taken off. 8:45 p.m. Caller reported that a grab and run had just occurred at the Best Buy on School Street. Jan. 20 11:32 a.m. Jonas Pierre, 19, of 2 Charlene Dr. in Plainville was arrested on a warrant from a previous incident that occurred in Mansfield. He was originally charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. Jan. 21 12:59 p.m. Caller reported that two of her vehicles were egged overnight while parked on Highland Avenue. 11:50 p.m. Eric Hayes, 44, of 125 Oak St. was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Jan. 2 12:58 p.m. Caller reported an iPod Touch was stolen during a house party on Bird Rd. Jan. 3 12:54 p.m. Amtrack Police called and requested Mansfield Police assistance for a male subject refusing to get off the tracks in front of a freight train. The subject was removed from the tracks. 7:41 p.m. Robert Mulligan, 49, of 6 Tower Ln. in Buzzard’s Bay was arrested at Cork’s for disorderly conduct. Dec. 30 11:34 p.m. Caller reported his son left a vehicle at friend’s house while he was away and came back to find the vehicle covered in food items. Caller reported this is an ongoing issue. 8:47 p.m. Caller reported that, instead of food products as before, a Christmas tree had been placed in the rear of his son’s vehicle.
