Mansfield Snow Ban in Effect Dec. 1

Snow emergency parking bans going into effect Dec. 1.

Effective Dec. 1, Mansfield's winter parking ban will go into effect. There will be no parking allowed in the Mansfield Downtown Business District during a snow emergency. A snow emergency will be announced by the town when such a case arises. Just because it's snowing does not necessarily mean a snow emergency. Check back with Mansfield Patch for more information when the situation arises. Downtown business district is defined as: Rumford Avenue to Hope Street; South Common to North Common.   In case of snow emergency, all vehicles not removed from roadways will be subject to ticketing and towing.  Any vehicles parked on any street or highway within the town limits during snow removal shall be towed at the expense of the owner.
