The following is from the Mansfield Police logs from Nov. 26 to the morning of Nov. 29, 2012.
Nov. 26 11:46 a.m. Charles Mueller, 31, of 455 Mill St. was issued a summons arrest for carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a firearm after a violent crime arrest, possession of a class A substance, receiving stolen property and improper storage of a firearm. 3:51 p.m. Caller reported someone had cashed a blank check he endorsed. Nov. 27 8:30 a.m. Caller reported that her 11-year-old daughter was involved in an inappropriate online chat during the night. The screen name and chat itself were taken down and reported to Mansfield Police. 12:17 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on Chauncy Street. 5:47 p.m. Martha Aries, 54, of 6 Larson Rd. in Norton was arrested for shoplifting by asportation. 7:35 p.m. Tyler Bassett, 19, of 53 …

Mansfield man arrested for assaulting a police officer after a domestic dispute was broken up.
John Bowes, 23 of 150 Rumford Ave. was arrested early Saturday morning for, among other charges, allegedly assaulting a Mansfield Police Officer. Bowes was placed under arrest at his address during a physical altercation with a female party at around 3:45 in the morning. Bowes was arrested for domestic assault and battery, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace and malicious destruction of property. After the incident, Mansfield Emergency Medical personnel evaluated Bowes for any injuries. Transport to a local hospital was not required. Police stated later that bail would not be set for Bowes until he “calmed down.”

Sept. 27 10:01 p.m. Kevin Hughes, 38, of 29 Warren Ave. was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lane violation. Hughes allegedly crashed his vehicle into another motorist and was found to be intoxicated when police arrived. Sept. 28 4:50 p.m. Kevin Young, 39, of 37 Meadow Lane in Brigewater was arrested for three counts of violating his restraining order and one count of threatening to commit a crime. Sept. 29 3:37 p.m. John Bowes, 23, of 150 Rumford Ave was arrested for domestic assault and battery, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace and malicious destruction of property.
