Mansfield Wrestling Takes Down KP 43-33

Mansfield wrestling wins big.

Mansfield defeated KP 43-33 Thursday night at Mansfield High School. Mansfield enjoyed a big night from it's seniors in pulling off the win in a close see saw battle. George Bezreh (126), Joe Herrick (138), Sam Borden (145), and Tyler McKay (195) all recorded 1st period pins for the Hornets. Sam McLoughlin had a hard fought 4-1 victory also. Juniors Jake McCaffrey (160), by 1st period pin, and Paul Bezreh (120), by major decision also won for Mansfield. The Hornets improved their record to 9-6 and next wrestle Saturday at Lawrence High School.

Mansfield Wrestling Defeats Taunton

Mansfield defeats Taunton in six matches.

Mansfield beat Taunton 53-17 Monday night at Taunton High School. There were six forfeits and two no contest matches between the two teams. Only six of a possible fourteen matches were actually decided on the mat.  Winning by pin for Mansfield were Paul Bezreh (120), Sam McLoughlin (132), Joe Herrick (138) and Shane Walsh (182). Mansfields record is 4-4 and they next wrestle in Canton Thursday night.
