Five Things You Need to Know in Mansfield for July 28

Lots of good eats this weekend.

1. Knockouts Haircuts for Men will be having their 1st annual car wash this Saturday at 10 a.m.  All proceeds will be donated to Team 21. Recommended donation $10.00. 2. There will be a demonstration of landscape painting by Wanda Lewicka from Easton this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Michael's on 280 School St. as an introduction to courses. Courses start in August every Tuesday evening. In two hours, you will start with a blank 9x12 canvas board and finish with a beautiful landscape and easily learn painting fundamentals as well as composition and color theory.  3. Patriot Place Sounds of Summer Concert Series, presented by Patch.com, will be presenting Cry Uncle from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. A small time band with big time aspirations to have fun, …

Regional Weekend Planner: Live Music, Nunsense and Yard Sale

Great stuff this weekend.

There will be a multi-family yard sale rain or shine at 10 a.m. on 184 West Main St. in Norton. Casey O'Conors in Mansfield is presenting DJ Rob followed by Roctopus at 7 p.m. Delbert McClinton with Etta Britt will be playing at Showcase Live in Patriot Place at 6 p.m. Delbert McClinton honed his craft working in a bar band, the Straitjackets, backing visiting blues giants such as Sonny Williamson, Howlin' Wolf, Lightnin' Hopkins and Jimmy Reed.
