Starting with the 2013 seasons, fans will be limited in what type of bags can be brought into NFL stadiums including Gillette Stadium.
When fans go watch the Patriots play later this year, they will be subjected to a new league-wide policy on what bags can be brought into a stadium. According to the New England Patriots, fans will be able to carry the following style and size bags, packages, or containers at stadium Plaza areas, stadium gates, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium: Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: non see-through purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. Russian president Vladimir Putin claims Bob Kraft gave him his 2005 Super Bowl right, but the New England Patriots' owner said it belongs to him.
Maybe, it was lost in the translation. Russian president Vladimir Putin is claiming New England Patrots owner Robert Kraft gave him a Super Bowl ring and isn't giving it back, according to a report in the Boston Globe. Kraft has different side of the story. Last week, he told the New York Post that he saw Putin the $25,000 ring during a 2005 meeting in Russia. "I took out the ring and showed it to (Putin)," said Kraft in the New York Post. "And he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring.' I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out." CNN is reporting that ring is considered a gift to the Russian president and is now in the Kremlin library.

Tim Tebow signed a contract with the New England Patriots Monday and was expected to join the team at mini-camp.
It's been a busy couple of days for Tim Tebow. The quarterback agreed to sign a free agent contact with the New England Patriots Monday and is expected to be at mini-camp today. With all that going on, Tebow probably hasn't had time to do some real estate shopping, so let's give him some help. Let's do the neighborly thing here and assist him in his search for a new home in Mansfield. Why should Tim make his home here while he is playing over in Foxborough?

The New England Patriots announced Tuesday former linebacker Tedy Bruschi has been voted by fans as the 19th player and 21st member to enter the Patriots Hall of Fame. Bruschi will join Gil Santos, the Voice of the New England Patriots, at an induction ceremony during training camp that is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 11. The induction ceremony is open to the public and Patriots fans are encouraged to attend. Southeastern Regional High School students in the cabinet and collision repair department constructed cornhole boards that will be auctioned off for Matt Light's charity.
Students at Southeastern Regional High School in Easton were paid a visit by former New England Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light Wednesday morning. Light mingled with students and autographed sets of cornhole boards constructed by the cabinet and collision repair departments. The boards, when completed, will be auctioned off at Light's charity cornhole tournament at Gillette Stadium on June 1 to benefit the Light Foundation. "This foundation emphasizes character building and accountability, which is the same thing we do," said Southeastern Collision repair instructor Robert Morin. The New England Patriots took the Southern Mississippi outside linebacker with the 52nd pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
After trading out of the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots chose Southern Mississippi outside linebacker Jamie Collins with the team’s first pick in the second round (52nd overall). “Jamie [Collins] is an interesting guy that came into college as a safety, played inside linebacker, played outside linebacker in a 3-4 and then played defensive end last year,” said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. “He’s been a very productive player in the kicking game.
