Hornets will see three talented teams in Fairfield, Connecticut.
The snowstorm has forced the Mansfield High girls' basketball team to alter its travel plans for the Notre Dame Appalachian Christmas Tournament in Fairfield, Connecticut. The Hornets were originally scheduled to begin play in the tournament on Monday night, but will not travel to Fairfield until Tuesday morning. Mansfield will then face St. Joseph's (4-1 record) of Trumbull, Connecticut in the opening game on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Sister Marion Rielly Auditorium The Hornets are one of four teams competing in the Notre Dame Appalachian Christmas Tournament, which will be held at Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield.
