Obituary: Ralph F. Roberge

Ralph Roberge, 95, formerly of South Attleboro and Mansfield, passed away May 9, 2013.

Obituary from Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.  Ralph F. Roberge, 95, of Sandwich, formerly of South Attleboro and Mansfield, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the husband of the late Lina J. (Bouchard) Roberge, to whom he was wed for over 65 years at the time of her death Oct. 1, 2011. Born in Mansfield Feb. 4, 1918, he was son of the late Isaac J. and Alice E. (Nolette) Roberge. He grew up and was educated in Mansfield. Ralph served his country as a member of the United States Navy during both WWII and the Korean Conflict, and was a former member of the 25th Infantry of the Massachusetts State Guard. William Clark Sr. William E. Clark Sr., 79, of South Easton, died May 14 2013. He was a resident of South Easton for 40 years. Mr. Clark was an Airman 2nd Class in the U.S. Air Force and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Grace Company in Canton for 25 years before retiring in 1996. William J. Mogk, age 86, of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean E. (Travers) Mogk who died on October 10, 1985. Born in Boston, MA on September 30, 1926 he was a son of the late William P. and Beatrice (Maillet) Mogk. He grew up in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School. For over 20 years, Mr. Mogk proudly served his country during WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Navy. He had originally enlisted in the United States Coast Guard before transferring into the Navy. Virginia M. (Ellis) Keating, age 96, a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Norton. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur L. Keating, Sr., to whom she was wed for 60 years at the time of his death in 1997. Born in Mansfield, MA on December 3, 1916, she was a dear daughter of the late Clarence and Harriet (White) Ellis. Wilma (Maurer) Carbonetti, 92, formerly of West Yarmouth and Mansfield, passed away at her home in Mashpee on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 Wilma was born in Clinton, Connecticut on June 12, 1920, to William and Emma (Scheuermann) Maurer. She graduated from Morgan High School in 1938. On April 6, 1942, she married the love of her life, Hugo A. Carbonetti, who passed away in 2005. Wilma lived in Mansfield from 1942 until 1971. While raising her children, she was very active in the community, especially the Girl Scouts, and worked with her husband in their business, Carbonetti's Market. Hope E. Rawlings passed away at the age of 74.

Hope E. Rawlings, age 74, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Village at Willow Crossing in Mansfield, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter W. Rawlings. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 10, 1938 she was a loving daughter of the late Adolph and Constance (Schofield) Thorell. She grew up in Cranston and was a graduate of Cranston East High School. She furthered her education, receiving her teaching degree from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Rawlings had taught third grade for over 30 years at the Narragansett Elementary School.
