Chattham

Chattham is a 15-year-old female cat who currently resides at the Mansfield Animal Shelter. She was recently surrendered and would like to find a new home. She is a quiet cat who spends most of her days at the shelter just relaxing on her perch. She is a bit shy but is friendly and welcomes attention. It is hard to not pay attention to her when she flashes those big green eyes. If you are looking for an older, kind-natured cat, Chattham would be great for you. Stop by the shelter at 175 Fruit St during their regular hours to spend some time getting to know her.

Buttercup

One of the newest surrenders to the Mansfield Animal Shelter is a 5-year-old male cat named Buttercup. He is waiting for someone to take him home. He is an affectionate and congenial cat. He enjoys being pet, but seems to be more comfortable when it's on his terms. He is a quiet cat who generally keeps to himself and, for that reason, he would be best suited in a quiet household. If you are able to love and care for Buttercup, visit him at the shelter at 175 Fruit St to get to know him.

Ace

Ace is a 3-year-old black cat who was surrendered to the shelter. She is shy and sometimes wary and does not do well with change, but if you approach her slowly and gently she will show plenty of affection. When Ace gets scared or nervous she hides and will sometimes hiss if you come at her too quickly. She is best suited for a home with adults or older children who will not handle her too much. Though she does not like to be picked up, she adores being patted and will show you lots of love. If you are patient and gentle, she is a great cat for you. Chloe

Chloe is a very happy 3-year-old pit bull mix. She has been at the shelter for about two months and is awaiting a home to call her own. She is a very sweet dog with an affectionate personality. All she wants is to be loved and to give you kisses. She is very high energy and is best suited for a family that has plenty of time to devote to training and exercise. She knows a few simple commands but needs work to reinforce them. If you are willing to spend time training her and exercising her to not only keep her in shape give her a healthy outlet for her energy, than Chloe is a great fit for you.
