Raymond F. Bedard, 86, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy J. (Goyea) Bedard, who died on March 7, 2009. Mr. and Mrs. Bedard were wed on February 28, 1948. Born in Fall River, MA on March 7, 1926, he was a dear son of the late Adelard and Catherine (Fitzgerald) Bedard. Ray spent his early childhood living in Boston. At age 10, his family moved to Foxboro where he continued growing up and was a graduate of Foxboro High School. During World War II, he honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He later graduated from Northeastern University.
