The results of this week’s Best Of Readers’ Choice series are in. With 13 percent of the votes Cibo Matto Caffe was voted as the Best Place to Celebrate Mother’s Day. Cibo Matto Caffe is a contemporary restaurant serving Italian comfort food. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the food served is innovative. Lunch and dinner are served daily, and there is a brunch on weekends. The food has been described by critics as "Crazy Food," which is the translation of the restaurant's name. Mansfield Florist wins this week's Best of Readers Choice in Mansfield.
The Mansfield Florist beat out this week's competition for the best flowers in Mansfield. The Mansfield icon shop beat out Stobbarts and Stop and Shop for the best florist in town by only seven votes. Mansfield Florist and Stobbarts were neck and neck for much of the week, but Mansfield Florist held on to win it. "Our talented designers can customize floral arrangements that will complement any occasion and meet your budget and style expectations as well," they boast on their Web site. Best of Patch Reader's Choice: Cheng Du is Mansfield's Choice for Asian Cuisine
Cheng Du wins Mansfield Patch's weekly poll.
Mansfield's Cheng Du won this week's poll for best Asian food in town. Cheng Du beat out Asia Grill and Sushi by one vote this week in a very close race. The Chinese Restaurant touts on its website: "We use the finest ingredients and prepare the most authentic dishes with prompt and friendly service. Our family founded the Cheng-Du Restaurant in 1979 and pioneered the preparation of Szechuan and Mandarin Cuisine. " The restaurant is located on North Main Street. Next week, we'll be asking readers where they buy their flowers. With the many flower shops around town, it will no doubt be a competitive category.

With Opening Day for Baseball coming up, it is time to scramble to buy those baseball gloves. Luckily, there is a place right here in town where all your sporting good needs can be bought, whether you're a baseball player, softball player lacrosse player, or any athlete. Grogan/Marciano Sporting Goods, won this week's "Best of Reader's Choice Poll," which asked Mansfield residents where they go to buy sporting goods. Grogan/Marciano has been offering their services for almost 40 years now in Mansfield. Liberty Tax Services was named the best place to get your taxes done last minute.
With tax day looming, Mansfield residents spoke loud and clear who they want taking care of their taxes. Liberty Tax Services, located in the middle of downtown on North Main Street, won this week's "Best of" poll, which asked Mansfield residents where the best place was to get your taxes done at the last minute. With 36 percent of the vote, Liberty edged David A. Doucette, C.P.A., who had 26 percent of the vote. Next week, we'll be asking our readers where the best place is to buy sporting goods.

Best of Patch Reader's Choice: Geno's Wins Best Fries in Mansfield
Geno's in Mansfield won this week's best of poll for best french fries in town.
Geno's Restaurant & Lounge won this week's Best of Patch Reader's Choice for best french fries in Mansfield. Geno's beat out 14 other restaurants and cafes to come out on top in the American tradition of sliced potatoes. Casey O'Conors came in second this week and Jimmy's Pub came in third. "Excellent," owner and head chef John Spiezio said. "I heard earlier this week we were doing pretty well. I really appreciate it." While everyone has their own fancies on how they eat or cook their french fries, Spiezio said there is no secret ingredient in the recipe. "There's no secret, but I ain't giving out the recipe," he said. Tax season is in the air next week, and we'll have the best places in Mansfield to do your taxes.
