Suspect Charged in Armed Robbery at Norwood Convenient Store Norwood Police have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery that took place in Norwood Center last Thursday. According to a Norwood Police statement, Joshua Johnson, 26, of 196 Fairmount Avenue Apt. 9 in Hyde Park, confessed to committing the robbery at the Norwood News Convenient Store after being arrested on an active warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court in Boston for an armed robbery and an additional charge of Heroin possession. First thing is I feel for all those affected in this recent tragedy. I cant imagine what those parents are going through, My heart goes out to all of them. BUT, just because this maniac used an “assault rifle” doesn't mean everyone who responsibly owns these types of rifles should be punished by ridiculous law makers who are grasping at straws.
