There is an old saying @Sean Bielat, and the saying is: "Follow the Money." How many people noticed the fine print on the back-to-school supplies from Staples.com this past year, school notebooks were on sale for .01-cents each, and the fine print on the front cover of the school notebook states: "Made In Brazil." It does not say: Made in China (for a change); nor does it say: Made in Mexico (…   more ›

Mr. Kennedy: Have you ever in your life had to save up money to make a purchase? Do you know what it is like to save for a down payment for a house or a car? save to pay a tuition bill, save to pay off a credit card? If you have not had those experiences, how can you possibly understand what the voters go through on a daily basis? How can you possibly represent their interests?   more ›

Is this for real? cause I saw the first debate (of the few Kennedy would agree to), and Kennedy came across as a weak and feckless. His 30.000 foot assessment of the district could have been written by any high school freshman. He also wants us to believe his experience as a prosecutor qualifies him to provide people with "access to opportunity". A prosecutor providing "access to opportunity"? …   more ›

Frank reportedly signed with a talent agency, according to a blog on The Hill.

The Newton congressman clarified his plans in a statement Wednesday after receiving questions about his future after Congress. According to a blog post on The Hill, Frank has also signed with a talent agency.  Frank closed his statement Wednesday by directing any questions to William Morris Endeavors, a talent and literacy agency run by Ari Emanuel, brother of Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Suggestions if you get to Washington: 1. Sign the "No tax pledge" so you will get funding from your party's corporate managers. (And so the Grover Norquists won't cut you off if you don't!) 2. Quietly open you doors to the lobbyists first, but remember to do public photo ops once in a while with citizens. 3. Prioritize! Elections happen sporadically. Corporate dollars flow continuously. 4.
