Dorothy M. (Unsworth) Powers, 70, of Norton, and a former longtime resident of Mansfield, passed away in the comfort of her home Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was wife of the late Edward J. Powers Sr. to whom she was wed for over 50 years at the time of his death Aug. 22, 2010. Born in Boston Sept. 5, 1942, she was daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel (Boire) Unsworth. She grew up in the Roxbury section of Boston and was educated in Boston parochial schools. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Powers had worked for several years as a customer representative at Paula Young Wigs in Easton. She had previously worked in quality controls at Mansfield Scientific, and following retirement, had assisted her family in the operation of Industrial Precision …
