ReplyYou're right. Most would probably not go to the Duck parade. Give them a tax free bonus instead!

Five Guys burgers without the bun (gluten free) is pretty greasy. It needs the bun to sop up the grease. Their french fries are awesome! I still like McD's burgers better. The value meals change according to location. So a value meal in Norton is not the same deal in Brockton or Norwood.

me---you had to fight for your son's transfer to another store? If he is old enough to work to gain experience, then he is old enough to fight his own battles. He will learn how to do this all by himself. It would be ok for you to guide him on this issue, but not for you to fight for him at the company? There is a definite lack of work ethic among some of working youth, no matter where they work. Mom and Dad always fix things for them. Mom and Dad pay for their college education, buy them cars, pay for their vacations, do everything for them. It's no wonder they live at home. They are not allowed to grow up to be thriving and hard working adults. These same people think that the world is theirs for the taking, without any effort to take charge of themselves. No wonder. Not only do the hard working stiffs have to do for themselves, but we have to deal with parents who think that they can control the work place too. Let you son call in sick for himself.

ReplyOh come on, people! Why kick a dead horse? Shaw's is a great company to work for. They treat their employees with respect. As for the stores themselves, they do the best that they can with the stiff competition from 5 other area markets. The economy does not help either. I wish them well and hope not too many stores are closed pulling the regional economy down further.

Lots of trees with wires down in Foxboro. It doesn't matter too much if your wires are underground. The utilities could be diverted for safety reasons. Hang tight!

A bowling alley, mini golf, movie theatre, a small venue dinner theatre/play house, cultural center, youth center, a community center for residents, historical museum, art gallery, and yes, a book store. It could also serve as a shelter for emergencies.
