Originally from the nearby town of Norfolk, Mike graduated from Hofstra University in 2002 with a degree in print journalism.
After freelancing for several papers in southeastern Massachusetts, he started work as a staff reporter for a small Vermont paper, and then moved on to a daily paper in central Mass.
Politics: I'd define my beliefs as right-of-center. I think I'm registered as either a Republican or independent - not quite sure.
Religion: I'm non-religious.
