I am a stay-at-home mother of two young children.  I have learned that many people don't cook because they think they can't cook.  I think there are plenty of recipes out there that are delicious and easy enough for anyone to follow.   I created my blog to share these recipes, and also to share stories of how home-cooking can create wonderful memories, or make you reminisce the good times passed.  I am not a trained chef by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think you have to be one to whip up a good meal.

In my life before children, I worked in the hedge fund industry, trying to keep our clients happy and in the loop with what we were doing.  I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Communications.
